Textile Project

This last pattern is the one I decided to go with.
I wanted to take iconic outlines and transform them into something new.When looking for items, I quickly fell in love with the shapes of a banana, a bowling pin and a bottle of Sriracha. I began combining them. Each time that I made a shape that I enjoyed. I would go through the process of finding a color that I felt reflected the shape for me. Once I had the one color, I would find a color or colors that were related to my color, by being complimentary or otherwise. I chose the pinks “Xs” on the green background, because I love using three iconic shapes to make a well known shape. Also, those colors struck a chord with me. (Probably because pink is my favorite color.
